„The emergency room at that hospital will be closed every weekend until Aug. 2 due to a lack of doctors.“
Health system too sick to keep all ERs fully staffed
The Lillian Fraser is just one of many provincial hospitals where there are closures in the coming months. Two Cape Breton hospitals — New Waterford Consolidated and Northside General — are already on a rotating closure schedule. Fishermen’s Memorial in Lunenburg has been closed overnight for two years due to a lack of nurses, while Digby General is closed on Mondays this month.
Hier gibt es ebenfalls keine 24-h-Abdeckung, andernorts steht man mit einer Verletzung immerhin am Wochenende doof da ( Doctor shortage going to cut emergency room time – indefinitely).
Danke an WhiteCoat und ERP’s erstories.net
